Governing Principles on watch condition

Every watch is different. The condition may span multiple descriptions. We try to assess these aspects individually, but ultimately reach consensus on an "overall condition."

🔹 New / Brand New: Never worn. All stickers, tags, and factory seals present. Full kit (box, papers, extra links, etc.)

🔹 Like New / Mint: Worn once or twice at most. No visible scratches, dings, or marks. Crystal and case are flawless. Strap or bracelet shows no wear. Typically still has box and papers

🔹 Excellent: Light, minimal wear (e.g., hairline swirls). The case and bezel are clean with only micro marks. Crystal is perfect or nearly perfect. Fully functional movement. Original strap/bracelet in great shape.

🔹 Very Good: Light to moderate wear visible on case or bracelet. Minor scratches or bezel marks are possible. Crystal is clean or lightly marked. Fully functional with no mechanical issues. May or may not include a complete kit

🔹 Good: Noticeable wear: scratches, nicks, or fading. Crystal may have visible marks. May need a strap replacement or cleaning. Fully functional but worn. Possibly missing box/papers

🔹 Fair / Poor: Heavy wear, dents, missing parts, or non-working. Crystall may be chipped or deeply scratched. Movement may not run correctly or at all. Best for parts, restoration, or project watches
